Certain medications, such as corticosteroids, may produce negative effects on bone resorption in induced tooth movement (i.e. teeth moved via braces or aligners). It may slow down the bone resorption and formation. If this happens, aligners may not move the teeth as effectively as desired, and we generally advise against orthodontic treatment. If you are taking any such medications, or have any questions in this regard, please contact our customer support experts before ordering your impression kit.Â
