Your safety is our utmost concern. You need to be up to date with your check-ups to be sure you do not have any contra-indications for braces or aligners. This includes discussing your aligner plans with your dentist. S/he will know by looking at your X-rays and other examinations if you can safely do aligner treatment and if you are ready for it. In most cases, any dental work you need should be done before you do your impressions and before you get your aligners. Sometimes it can be done after you have completed aligner treatment. If you're not sure if you're ready for impressions, check with your dentist and with your SnapCorrect customer service before doing your impressions and before signing off on getting your aligners.
